Handrail brackets
Handrail bracket at retro door hardware
Handrail brackets (holders) are available for round and flat support saddles as well as round and keyhole profile handrails.
Range of handrail brackets
Available in the following variants: nickel (shiny, as originally applied), antique brass (antique bronze patina), polished brass, satin nickel (brushed nickel), and (powder-coated) cast iron.
A handrail is a strong rail that provides stability while ascending or descending stairways in order to prevent dangerous falls.
Mounting a handrail bracket
A banister is often mounted to the adjacent wall. The handrail brackets are often screwed onto a shelf which is mounted against the wall. This shelf prevents the wall from getting dirty when the banister is used. The handrail brackets are usually mounted every 80 cm.
You can mount any length of handrail between the ending brackets, as long as the diameter is 40 mm. Long handrails can be supported with extra handrail holders in between.
The handrail brackets with a diameter of 40 mm can also be perfectly used as curtain rods or towel racks.
